While it is my understanding that you would like to install an <br />electnc fence to keep the animals out of the newly planted prairie, both electric and barbed <br />wire fences are prohibited within the zoning district in which the park is located. <br />The Comrission indicared that they would not want to see the animals return to the park <br />without some type of fence. The only type of fence which would be allowed would be a <br />woven wire fence and the Commission is not interested in expending money at this time to <br />install such a fence. They would, however, entertain a request if you were interested in <br />installing a woven wire fence to protect the prairie plantings. <br />To summarize, it appears that without a woven wire fence, your cows will not be allowed to <br />be pastured in Royal Valley Park from this point forward.
