• <br /> <br />Fo re st La ke A re n a <br />Forest Lake, Minnesota <br />~, <br />. r ._-~- <br />Design Only <br />The Forest Lake Youth Hockey Association commissioned a Concept <br />Design package for atwo-sheet ice arena. The. need of a Concept <br />Design package was twofold. The first was to have marketing tools to <br />proceed with the replacement of the existing single-sheet Forest Lake <br />Hockey Arena. The second, to have contractors provide preliminary <br />pricing that would assist in developing a business plan to present to <br />the city of Forest Lake for consideration of the issuance of performance <br />bonds to assist in the construction financing. <br />The Arena's program statement consisted of two NHL-sized {85 x <br />200) ice sheets; one with 1000 permanent seats, the other with 600 <br />retractable seats.The 1,000 seat arena would hold ice year round while <br />the 600 seat arena would take out its ice at the end of the season and <br />function as an indoor Field House for the local School District.
