PUBLIC HEARING CASE <br />NO. LU 94-2 AND ZC 94-3 <br /> <br />ISSUE <br /> <br />The City of Elk River is requesting the following: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Comprehensive land use plan amendment changing the land use <br />from HR (high density residential) to MR (medium density <br />residential) . <br /> <br />b. Rezoning from R4 (multi-family residential) to R1C (single <br />family residential). <br /> <br />LOCATION <br /> <br />NW corner of the intersection of Gary Street and Orono Road <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Report to the Planning Commission dated March 22, 1994. <br /> <br />ANALYSIS <br /> <br />In 1991, the City of Elk River purchased the subject property from E & 0 <br />Tool to assist them in their relocation efforts elsewhere in the community. At <br />the same time this left the opportunity to expand Orono Park at some later <br />date. The present land use and zoning of this property is inconsistent with <br />e the zoning and land use for the balance of Orono Park. <br /> <br />P.O.
