Meeting of the <br />River Elk River Planning Commission <br />Held at Elk River City Hall <br />Tuesday, August 23, 2022 <br />Members Present: Chair Jill Larson -Vito, Commissioners Perry Beise, Dennis Booth, <br />Eric Johnson, Craig Keisling, Tony Mauren, and Rob Rydberg <br />Members Absent: Councihnember/Liaison Mike Beyer <br />Staff Present: Community Development Director Zack Carlton, Senior Planner <br />Chris Leeseberg, and Sr. Admin. Assistant/Recording Secretary <br />Jennifer Green <br />I . Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning <br />Commission was called to order at 6:49 p.m. by Chair Larson -Vito. <br />2. Consider August 23, 2022, Planning Commission Agenda <br />Moved by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Booth to <br />^ approve the August 23, 2022, Planning Commission as presented. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />3. Consider July 26, 2022, Planning Commission Minutes <br />Moved by Commissioner Beise and seconded by Commissioner Keisling to <br />approve the July 26, 2022, Planning Commission minutes. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />4.1 Charity Dellwo of JC Styles Hair Salon, 329 Morton Ave. NW <br />■ Conditional Use Permit for a Home Occupation (beauty salon), Case No. <br />CU 22-13 <br />Mr. Leeseberg presented the staff report. He updated the commission that the <br />applicant submitted a building permit to construct a garage on the property. Mr. <br />Leeseberg received two additional phone calls today from concerned residents <br />regarding the construction company activity occurring on the parcel. <br />Chair Larson -Vito opened the public hearing. <br />There being no one to speak, Chair Larson -Vito continued the public hearing to the <br />September 27, 2022, Planning Commission meeting. <br />
