Lot 1, Block 2, Orono Lake <br /> 3rd Addition. <br /> Attachments <br /> Location map, zoning map, site plan, floor plan, letter from applicant. <br /> Background <br /> Mr. Colbath is requesting a conditional use permit to operate an upholstery <br /> business from his home located at 13155 183rd Avenue, Elk River, <br /> Minnesota. The applicant currently operates an upholstery business in New <br /> Hope and if approved would move the business to his home in Elk River. The <br /> reason that this item is required to go through a conditional use permit is <br /> that some of the equipment such as industrial sewing machines are not <br /> normally found in a home. <br /> Business <br /> The business will consist of primarily residential re-upholstery and some <br /> small scale commercial re-upholstery.
