A photoelectric <br />fi:<ture was investigated and found to be not vandal resistant <br />and of too low wattage far our requirements. A direct light would <br />need to be raised on a post and would be difficult to aim. Two <br />proposals were presented which would utilize an 8' fluorescent <br />bul b or bulbs. The fir st proposal wo~_~i d req!~ire boring under the <br />driveway and was estimated to cost f~1i6~. The second world require <br />that the fluorescent strip be hidden under carpenter"s WOOd casing <br />and would cost ~bY~, not including the carpenter's fee. Both of <br />these would be connected tv the present timing system and would <br />come on automatically when the outside lights came on. Due to <br />the large volume of business on the agenda, our decision on this <br />was tabled until our ne;:t meeting. <br />F'at introduced Zack: ~~ohnson from E05 Architecture whom ale requested <br />attend this meeting to help us determine the nest steps in our <br />proposed new yr e:<panded facility. Zac4:: e:,plained how a work: <br />program would be set up and how we would need to wor4:: on establishing <br />a space allocation program and site selection, as well as the <br />financial and time requirements and limitations for a library. <br />He described the four Phases: 1) F'ragramming; 2l Site Selection; <br />3) Establish Estimates of Probable Development Costs; and, 4) Estab- <br />lish Schedule of Development Activities. He also discussed other <br />fees incidental to such a project and provided us with a list of <br />such fees. <br />Verne volunteered that much of this information was already <br />contained in the Draft Building Program which he prepared in <br />March, 199~r. Zack: was provided a copy of this Draft and agreed <br />that much of the information would be valuable and would save <br />
