P 92-02 ISSUE To consider request for preliminary plat by Country Ridge Partnership to subdivide approximately forty (40) acres into seventy-three (73) single family lots. BACKGROUND e This item was originally presented to the City Council on March 21, 1994. At that meeting, discussion centered on the plat's design, lot size (density), and the development's impact to the trees on the northerly limits of the plat. Dave Anderson, Park and Recreation Commission Chairman, was present at the meeting and elaborated on the number and quality of trees that exist along the northern seven (7) acres of the property. Upon further discussion by the Council, staff was directed to work with the developer to come up with a revised preliminary plat that would save a majority of the trees along the north portion of the property, and possibly reduce the density of the project. The Council also requested this item go back to the Park and Recreation Commission as well as the Planning Commission. P.O.
