MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 1999 Members Present: President Dwyer; Commissioners Bender, Gongoll, Klinzing, Thompson, Farber, and Motin Members Absent: None Staff Present: Paul Steinman, Director of Economic Development; Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Sandra Peine, City Clerk; Peter Beck, City Attorney; Joni Pearson, Recording Secretary Also Present: Jim Brimeyer, The Brimeyer Group, Inc. - Executive Search Consultants The following preceded the 1111/99 Economic Development Authority meeting: The swearing in of Mayor Stephanie Klinzing, and Councilmember Ward 4 Paul Motin. 1. Call Meetina To Order e Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Economic Development Authority was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Vice President Dwyer. 2. Consider 1/11/99 Aaenda COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 11, 1999, EDA AGENDA. COMMISSIONER GONGOLL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 3. Consider Consent Aaenda Director of Economic Development Paul Steinman noted that the December 21, 1998, EDA minutes should be amended to reflect that the Joseph and Yvonne Kirkeide property was included in the proposed eminent domain process approved at the last EDA meeting, as per Resolution 98-11 to facilitate the overall commercial/industrial project for T1F District No. 19. COMMISSIONER BENDER MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: 3.1. 12/14/98 EDA MINUTES - APPROVED 3.2. 12/21/98 EDA MINUTES - WITH ADDITION OF KIRKEIDE PROPERTY NOTED AS PART OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCESS - APPROVED 3.3. EDA CHECK REGISTER - APPROVED . COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
