Call Meetina To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the meeting of the Elk River Economic Development Authority was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Gongal!. 2. Consider July 8. 19961 EDA Aoenda e COMMISSIONER DWYER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JULY 8,1996, EDA AGENDA. COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 3.1. Consider June 10. 1996, EDA Minutes COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 10, 1996, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES. COMMISSIONER DWYER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 3.2. Consider June 17, 1996, EDA Minutes COMMISSIONER DWYER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 17, 1996, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES. COMMISSIONER BENDER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 4. Consider Micro Loan Reauest from LeFebvre Truckina Director of Economic Development Paul Steinman explained that the EDA Finance Committee reviewed a request for a micro loan in the amount of $50,000 made by Lefebvre Trucking. He explained that the trucking company is requesting to fund working capital as part of a project to construct approximately 16,300 square feet of shop/office space. Paul Steinman reviewed the terms of the loan based on the recommendation of the EDA Finance Committee. He indicated that staff recommendation is to approve the $50,000 loan request. e COMMISSIONER DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE $50,000 MICRO LOAN REQUEST FROM LEFEBVRE TRUCKING. COMMISSIONER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
