Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the <br />Economic Development Authority was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by <br />President Gongoll. <br /> <br />2. Consider 7/26/93 EDA Agenda <br /> <br />Item S.a, "Presentation to an Industrial Prospect" was added to the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DWYER MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/26/93 EDA AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />COMMISSIONER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Discussion on Elk River Video Presentation <br /> <br />Bill Rubin stated that the purpose of this special meeting was to <br />discuss the goals and uses of an Elk River EDA video presentation. He <br />stated that he has grouped the uses of a video presentation into four <br />broad categories which include recruitment, initial overview, <br />supplemental information, and general marketing. President Gongoll <br />suggested that the presentation include the City's lakes and rivers and <br />also businesses which have located in Elk River and expanded. He <br />further suggested including a mix of the residential homes in Elk River. <br /> <br />Bill Rubin provided the EDA with sample videos to <br />stated that he called two communities to <br />Diversified Marketing Resource, Inc., and received <br />both communities. <br /> <br />view.
