<br />J\1INUTES OF THE ELK RNER PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />May 27, 1966 - Members Present <br /> <br />Dan Bailey <br />Al Bailey <br />Dick Gangall <br />Les Derr <br />P auI Siegler <br />John McGibbon <br />Jim Knight of Nason, Law, Wehrman & Knight <br />Ron Kalesew,ski of the State of Minnesota Department of Community <br />Planning <br /> <br />Mr. Knight presented his planning proposal for the Village of Elk River and <br />Mr. Kalesewski said the State approved the proposal and that it was within <br />Federal guide lines. He further said that the County pla11 as presented was <br />not within the guide lines so it would either have to get specific approval or <br />be amended. The price of each plan is based on joint study so they should <br />go in together. <br /> <br />The Commission decided to study the proposal and await County action on <br />their part of the plan. <br /> <br />A motion was passed to request the Village Council to approve use of the plan- <br />ni11g consulta11t as necessary at a rate not to exceed $12.00 per hour plus ex- <br />penses for technical advice to resolve any questions as they arise during the <br />pertod of tIme until the 701 Federal Gral1t is approved. <br />
