Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission 2.1 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Old Business December 19, 2023 Tim Dalton, FT Center Superintendent <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Lease Space Access to Fieldhouse Joe Stremcha, Assistant City Administa <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Discuss and approve by motion a written instrument to establish facility access via the south fieldhouse door to <br />iBackCheck Sports Therapy and Two Brothers Hockey. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />At the August 14, 2023, MFAC meeting the Commission voted and approved the following: “Moved by Chair <br />Williams and seconded by Vice Chair Loidolt to raise the turf rate $5 across all categories beginning September 1, <br />2023, contingent on the door between iBackCheck and the fieldhouse being permanently locked. Motion carried <br />8-0.” <br /> <br />On December 11, 2023, Lisa Zeman (iBackCheck Sports Therapy) and Ben Jaremko (Two Brothers Hockey) were <br />present at the MFAC meeting during open forum. They expressed to the commission the impact of that decision <br />and requested the door be unlocked going forward. After the presentation, the Commission recommended staff <br />draft a letter of understanding regarding access for the MFAC to consider at a special meeting.
