Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission River Held at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center Monday,June 12, 2023 Members Present: Vice Chair Greg Loidolt, Commissioners Betsy Gulden,Mike Westgaard, Mike Cunningham,Jim Hecker,Jake Peterson,and Jennifer Wagner Members Absent: Chair Dave Williams and Commissioner Kara Walker Staff Present: Assistant City Administrator/Business Services Director Joe Stremcha, Facility Superintendent Tim Dalton,Assistant Facility Supervisors Jeff Shelby and Billy Hunter,and Customer Service Associate Laura Estby PRIOR TO MEETING: Commissioner Jake Peterson sworn in. PUBLIC HEARING: No members of the public present. 1. Call Meeting to Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission was called to order at 6:31 p.m.by Vice Chair Loidolt. —, 2. Consider Agenda Chair Williams was unable to attend tonight's meeting and has requested the Commission table 7.1 and 8.1 and schedule a special meeting to discuss these items on Monday,July 10,2023. Moved by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Cunningham to approve the June 12, 2023 Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission agenda making 7.1 and 8.1 discussion only with no action. Motion carried 7-0. 3.1 Consider Minutes Moved by Commissioner Hecker and seconded by Commissioner Westgaard to approve the April 10,2023, minutes. Motion carried 7-0. 4.1 Billy Hunter - Sponsorship Package Mr.Hunter presented the completed booklet and discussed the ways he is bringing it to local businesses. Commissioner Cunningham asked for clarification of"game sponsorships" which are listed in the booklet and notes it could not be done during sectional games. Commissioner Wagner asked for clarification on"the change in coding" noted on the staff report. Mr.Dalton noted he will get further clarification from the finance department.
