Reports <br /> 7.1 Ice/Room/Turf Rates <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report. <br /> Mr. Stremcha added the Minnesota Ice Arena Manager's Association(MAMA) rates are only a <br /> snapshot and don't indicate whether a facility is subsidized by the general fund. <br /> 7.2 Initial Budget Draft, Goals & Performance Measures <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report and noted the FT Center has maximized prime season ice <br /> rentability but added there are opportunities for increased revenue in the shoulder seasons and in <br /> summer. <br /> He added the Food and Beverage Lead position being proposed could be a combined position that <br /> services the FT Center in the winter/spring and the Parks and Recreation Department in the summer. <br /> and the Maintenance Worker position would combine two current part-time positions. <br /> Mr.Dalton concluded the budget is currently"in the red" and added utility costs have increased due <br /> to the facility being charged at its highest demand day rate year-round.He is currently working with <br /> utilities to see if this can be adjusted. <br /> Commissioner Wagner inquired if the expenses presented for the concession stand include credit card <br /> fees,which Mr.Dalton confirmed. <br /> 7.3 Capital Improvement Projects <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report and noted a more refined list will be available at the August <br /> meeting. <br /> 8.1 Two Brothers Contract <br /> Two Brothers Owner Ben Jaremko presents a history of the company and its facility usage. <br /> 8.2 Jim Hecker— Senior Center Branding <br /> Commissioner Hecker noted the branding group would like the display case to be wall mounted at eye <br /> level near party room 2, in a similar style to other cases in the building.Efforts to find a similar case <br /> have exceeded the budget of$3,000. <br /> Mr. Stremcha suggested a collaboration with the High School or the Eagles Club. <br /> P11E1E1 11 <br /> NATURE <br />
