MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION HELD AT THE ELK RIVER COUNTRY CLUB WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1993 Members Present: Chair Dave Anderson, Commissioners Olson, Daleiden, Lipetzky, Dana Anderson, st. Dennis (7:45 p.m.), and O'Brien (7:45 p.m.) Members Absent: Commissioner Rolfe Anderson Staff Present: Phil Hals, Street/Park Superintendent; Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Jeff Asfahl (8:05 p.m.) The Park and Recreation Commission met at Woodland Trails Park at 6:30 and toured the park before the meeting. 1. Call Meeting to Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Park and Recreation Commission was called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Chair Dave Anderson. 2. Consider 9/15/93 Park and Recreation Commission Agenda The following items were added to the agenda: 5.a. Report by Jeff Asfahl 9.a. Discuss citizen's involvement in park uses for 3.5 acres south of Orono Parkway 9.b. Update on EDA action on EDA Main Street redevelopment site by Dana Anderson 9.c. Update on Kincanon plat of Outlot A in Heritage Landing COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/15/93 PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION AGENDA AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3. Consider 8/18/93 Park and Recreation Commission Minutes COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/18/93 PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED MOTION CARRIED 5-0. AND RECREATION THE MOTION. THE Due to the fact that Commissioner Lipetzky had to leave the meeting early, it was decided to discuss Item #8 at this time. Commissioners st. Dennis and O'Brien arrived at this time. 8. Staff Updates - Pre-Concept Review of Lakoduk Development Chair Anderson did a sketch of the 120 acres in question. Pat Klaers gave a brief update on staff contact with the potential developer. The
