Dennis, Dana Anderson, and Rolfe <br />Anderson <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Phil Hals, Street/Park Superintendent <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />Park & Recreation Commission was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Chair <br />Anderson. <br /> <br />2. Consider 7/14/93 Park & Recreation Commission Agenda <br /> <br />The following was added to the agenda: <br /> <br />7.c. Children's Play Area at Softball Complex <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/14/93 AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />COMMISSIONER LIPETZKY SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 8-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Open Mike <br /> <br />There was no one present for thi~ item. <br /> <br />4. Consider 6/9/93 Park & Recreation Minutes <br /> <br />Chair Anderson corrected the motion under Item #6 by adding the <br />following: <br /> <br />The Developer would make the entire floodplain available for park usage <br />and would protect the floodplain from any inclusion in building lots <br />with protective covenants and the developer would receive credit for up <br />to one acre of park dedication from the City. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/9/93 PARK & RECREATION <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER DALEIDEN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 8-0. <br /> <br />5. Master Park Plan <br /> <br />Chair Anderson explained <br />and that Steve Rohlf <br />additions to the Plan <br />discussion at a fall <br />formal action taken. <br /> <br />the need for changes to the Master Park Plan <br />will be leading the staff in preparing proposed <br />for the Park and Recreation Commission's <br />meeting. A brief discussion followed with no <br />
