��i <br />Elk River <br />Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />ERMU Commission <br />Thomas Geiser— Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: <br />AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />December 13, 2022 <br />6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br />• Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road <br />44 project. <br />• Working on 2023 budget items. <br />• We are still having issues with the fuse pads we received which were incorrectly <br />assembled. The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are <br />deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor <br />has 8 of the 12 in for repairs currently. We received the four that were fixed. <br />• We received our Ford F550, and it is currently at Towmaster Trailers in Litchfield getting <br />the dump box installed. <br />• Working on getting an additional feeder line from Station 14 Bank 4 to Otsego for future <br />support. This project will extend into spring of 2023. <br />• Highway 169 Redefine meetings are winding down, the first year went very smoothly. <br />• Apprentice lineworker Tanner Ellis' last day at ERMU was Friday, December 9, He <br />accepted a job with Connexus. <br />• Attended the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association Technical and Operations <br />conference in St. Cloud, December 6-9. It was a very good conference with lots of great <br />topics, and speakers. <br />• Attended the preconstruction meeting for a car wash in Otsego that is hoping to have <br />power connected in December. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
