Chairman Tracy further indicated that according to the
Building and Zoning Administrator's memo dated January 18, 1984, he felt that
Mr. Newland could comply to the five standards.

Commissioner Pearce questioned whether there was going to be any other employees
working for Mr. Newland at his home occupation. Rick Breezee stated that Mr.
Newland had indicated to him that there would be very few circumstances where
he would be having the sales at his home, and that they would only probably occur
two or three times per year.

Commissioner Tralle indicated that he would like to see some kind of limitation
placed on the conditional use which would limit the number of sales Mr. Newland
could have at his home.

Commissioner Pearce questioned whether traffic could become a problem with the home
occupation. Commissioner Ward indicated that Section 900.20(3)eof the Elk River
Zoning Ordinance spells out the requirements for traffic generated by home occupation.
