Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />Planning Commission was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of 10/27/87 Planning Commission Agenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 10/27/87 PLANNING COMMISSION <br />AGENDA. COMMISSIONER KIMBALL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 7-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consideration of 9/22/87 Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />It was noted that on page six, first paragraph, the word "structure" is <br />spelled wrong and also, motion should read 5-1, Commissioner Wilson voted <br />nay. On Page seven, paragraph nine, the words "within an A-1 <br />Agricultural Zone" should be deleted. The following wording should be <br />added to page seven, paragraph four, "or less" should be added between <br />words lower and in height. Last page should read "Meeting adjourned 12:15 <br />a.m. " <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 9/22/87 PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER BARRETT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRED 7-0. <br /> <br />4. Variance Request by Mr. Floyd Kruse/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson explained that Mr. Kruse is proposing to split a 19 acre <br />parcel into four lots. This proposed lot split would place Dino's Pizza, <br />Riverview Sports and Riverview Autos on separate lots. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, noted that the lot line <br />between Dino's Pizza and Riverview Sports would only be 10 ft. from each <br />of those existing buildings instead of 20 ft. as required. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson stated that he could see no problem with this <br />request. <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson opened the public hearing. There being no one for or <br />against the item, Chairman Wilson closed the public hearing. <br />
