Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of 8/25/87 Planning Commission Agenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MORTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 8/25/87 PLANNING COMMISSION <br />AGENDA. COMMISSIONER KIMBALL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6- <br />o. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consideration of 7/28/87 Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Commissioner Kimball noted that on page two, sixth paragraph, the word <br />"specific" should replace the word "various", and the words "districts <br />are" should be replaced with "district is." <br /> <br />Commissioner Temple noted that the name Don Dreissen was incorrectly <br />stated at John Greson in several areas of the minutes. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER BARRETT <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED . <br />MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/28/87 PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COMMISSIONER MORTON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> <br />4. Conditional Use Permit by Kenneth Nord/Public Hearing <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER KIMBALL MOVED TO TABLE THE CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST BY <br />KENNETH NORD PER THE PETITIONER'S REQUEST UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER 22, 1987, <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING. COMMISSIONER FUCHS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Preliminary Replat of Lot 3, <br />2nd Addition (to be known as Elk <br />Construction/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Block 1, <br />River 3rd <br /> <br />Elk River Plaza <br />Addition) by Barthel <br /> <br />Chairman Wilson addressed the item by stating that Barthel Construction <br />was requesting a replat of Lot 3, Block 1. Elk River Plaza 2nd Addition. <br />Barthel's request is to split Lot 3 into three lots. <br /> <br />The Building and Zoning Administrator explained that because the replat <br />is in a PUD, there is no exact requirement for lot size or frontage and <br />explained that he is comparing the zone to a C-3A zone, which has a one <br />acre lot requirement with 50 feet of frontage. He indicated that <br />proposed lots 2 and 3 would be over an acre in size. and Lot 1 less than <br />
