The applicant shall receive a commercial kennel license from the city. - 2. No more than six (6) animal units shall be allowed outdoors at U CR 33 once. P 3. The number of animal units permitted for boarding shall be limited to 16. x 4. The removal of animal waste shall comply with Section 10-5. RR 5. No more than two (2) animals per supervisor shall be allowed outside of the fenced area. Hwy io - 6. All dog waste shall be cleaned up immediately when dogs are - CR 12 off-site. 7. No dogs designated as dangerous or potentially dangerous are Y J ' allowed to be kept on site, and the keeping of such dog shall be grounds for revocation of the permit. 8. The dog park fencing shall be maintained at all times. , � Figure Background/Discussion The property is zoned R1a (single family residential) where commercial kennels require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). The ordinance defines a commercial kennel as any premise where more than six domestic animal units, over the age of six months, are boarded, trained, or bred for compensation, except for animals being raised as agricultural animals, an animal hospital, a veterinary clinic, or a pet shop.
