Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br />was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Anderson. <br /> <br />2. Consider 6/28/05 Planning Commission Agenda <br /> <br /> MOVED BY COMMISSIONER STEVENS AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER LEMKE TO APPROVE THE JUNE 28, 2005 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />3.1. Consider 5/24/05 Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER STEVENS AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER LEMKE TO APPROVE THE MAY 24, 2005 MINUTES. <br />MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />3.2. Consider 6/14/05 Planning Commission Workshop Meeting Notes <br /> <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER STEVENS AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER OFFERMAN TO APPROVE THE JUNE 14, 2005 MEETING <br />NOTES. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />4. Planning Commission Representative to Attend July City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Commissioner Westgaard will attend the July 18, 2005 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />5.1. Request by Tim Pomerleau for Preliminary Plat Approval (Kliever Lakes Fields 3 <br />rd <br />Addition), Public Hearing – Case No. P 05-09 <br /> <br /> Senior Planner Scott Harlicker reviewed the details of the proposed plat of Kliever Lake <br />Fields 3 Addition to subdivide 12 acres into 78 row style townhome lots. He discussed the <br />rd <br />surrounding land uses, layout of lots and density, streets, access and parking, and <br />landscaping. He noted that the layout of the center loop will need to be reconfigured, so <br />that the private drive will be connected so that there is no dead-end. <br /> <br /> Staff recommends approval of the proposal with the 15 conditions listed in the staff report, <br />and including a 16 condition to require a detailed landscape plan around the townhomes. <br />th <br /> <br /> <br />
