The applicant shall receive a commercial kennel license from <br /> the city. -- <br /> 2. No more than six (6) animal units shall be allowed outdoors at CR 33 <br /> once. <br /> 3. The number of dogs permitted for boarding shall be limited to <br /> three (3),this is in addition to the owner's animals. z <br /> 4. The removal of animal waste shall comply with Section 10-5. The backyard fencing shall be maintained at all times. w,yy <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> The property is zoned R1-a (single family residential) where ~` <br /> Figure I <br /> Commercial Kennels require a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). The <br /> ordinance defines a Commercial Kennel as any premise where more than six domestic animal units, over the age <br /> of six months, are boarded, trained, or bred for compensation, except for animals being raised as agricultural <br /> animals, an animal hospital, a veterinary clinic, or a pet shop.
