Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Heritage Preservation <br />Commission was called to order at 6:03 p.m. by Chair Lindberg. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />3. Consider September 17, 2020, Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Mauren and seconded by Commissioner Mortensen <br />approve the September 17, 2020, agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />4.1 Minutes of July 16, 2020, Heritage Preservation Meeting <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Mortensen and seconded by Commissioner Mauren <br />to approve the July 16, 2020, meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />5.1 Jackson Street Water Tower Update <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton stated the bid opening took place earlier in the day and four bids were <br />submitted. The bid amounts ranged from around $164,900 to $455,000. He stated <br />Kodet Architecture is verifying the bids submitted to ensure bid calculations are <br />correct. He stated the apparent low bidder is Elevation Painting in the amount of <br />$164,900. Mr. Carlton stated the amount is over the amount of the grant amount <br />received of $136,000 but they can apply for an additional subsequent grant based <br />upon what has changed in the bidding process. He will receive those changes from <br />Kodet and then submit to the state. Additional monies over the $20,000 matching <br />
