We talked about adding this service but did not become serious about it until recently. <br />It has been successful in other communities and we would like to try it here. <br /> <br />To start, delivery times would be limited to the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We are working on defining a <br />limited service delivery area. If this proves to be a successful service, we will consider expanding the delivery <br />area, possibly into neighboring communities. <br /> <br />We have developed a position description for the delivery driver and expect that when they are not <br />processing delivery orders, they would be performing other duties in the store. The pay is slightly higher <br />than the part-time liquor clerk pay is because of the additional responsibility and specialized service. Drivers <br />will be instructed that they cannot accept tips as that would violate Minnesota Gift Law. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />Pay range for this position will be $15.00 to $18.70.
