She reviewed layout, landscaping, parking, setbacks,
and Wild & SceniclShoreland issues. Ms. McPherson stated that the applicant has revised
the grading plan in the northwest corner of the site to avoid the Wild & Scenic District.
There will still be some minor grading within the Wild & Scenic area; however, this will be
allowed by the Department of Natural Resources.

Staff recommends approval with five conditions in the staff report.

Vice Chair Ropp opened the public hearing. There being no public comment, the public
hearing was closed.

Commissioner Franz asked how the City could ensure that there would be parking available
for the public. He also asked where there would be handicap parking stalls. Ms. McPherson
stated that the City does not enforce availability of public parking on specific sites. It would
be poor business practice to fill all of the parking with cars for display and leave no customer
parking. The Building Department will review the plan to ensure that there are adequate
handicap parking stalls on site.
