Call Meetinq To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning <br />Commission was called to order qt 6:30 p.m. by Chair Cote. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consider 7/13/99 Planninq Commission Aqenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE JULY 13, 1999, PLANNING <br />COMMISSION AGENDA WITH THE FOLLOWING ADDITION: <br /> <br />DISCUSSION OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR ELK RIVER CROSSING - OTHER <br />BUSINESS - TO BE CONSIDERED AFTER ITEM NO.2. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER CHAMBERS SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. Discuss Development Standards for Elk River Crossinq <br /> <br />The Commissioners and staff reviewed the draft development standards for Elk <br />River Crossing. Issues of concern were canopy lighting, outdoor display, sign age <br />(including multiple tenant signage), and tying to a theme with the downtown <br />redevelopment plan. Chair Cote asked that the commissioners be sent a copy of <br />the Fort Collins, Colorado design standards referred to by Scott Harlicker. <br />Revisions which were discussed will be incorporated into the design standards <br />and brought back to the Planning Commission for further review. <br /> <br />3.1. <br /> <br />Request by Elk River Country Club for Land Exchanqe with City of Elk River, Case <br />No. GP 99-7 <br /> <br />3.2. <br /> <br />Request by Elk River Country Club for an Amendment to a Conditional Use Permit <br />for Expansion. Public Hearinq Case No. CU 99-23 <br /> <br />Staff report by Steve Wensman. Elk River Country Club has requested a land and <br />easement exchange with the city to accommodate the golf course master plan. <br />They have also requested a conditional use permit to construct a 48'xl12' <br />maintenance building and expand the driving range.
