Present Were: James Simpson President George Zabee Vice Chairman James Tralle Trustee Others Present: Bill Birrenkott General Manager Glenn Sundeen Line Superintendent Bob McCartney Water Superintendent Charlene Roise Hess, Roise & Company Paul Erich Olson, Theilen & Co. Steve Valma Boy Scouts of America Wade Lovelette Lead Lineman Mark Fuchs Lead Lineman 1) The meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by President Simpson. 2) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the agenda as amended. The Motion carried. 3) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as distributed. The motion carried. 4) Steve Valma of the Boy Scouts presented a request to the Commissioners for the donation of underground service wires to a building they are planning to build. Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to forgo the traditional charge for underground service wires to the Boy Scout building. The motion Carried. 5) Paul Erich of Olson, Theilen, & Co. , the Utility Auditors, presented and reviewed the 1993 audit. Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to receive and file the 1993 audit as presented by Mr. Erich. The Motion carried. 6) Charlene Roise of Hess Roise presented the history of Elk River Municipal Utilities as authorized by the Commissioners last year. 7) The General Manager reported that we had received a request for a donation from the Early Childhood Family Education Advisory Council from ISD #728 in Elk River for playground equipment. Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Simpson to donate $500 toward this project. The motion carried.
