8) Wade Lovelette and Mark Fuchs, representating the outside <br /> workers, requested several policy changes to the present <br /> employment policies. Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. <br /> Zabee to make the following changes in the employment wages and <br /> policies to become effective June 1, 1994: <br /> • Base wages to raise 2.90% <br /> • Vacation to change as per schedule attached to <br /> these minutes. <br /> • Lead Linemen to be raised from 5% above the <br /> Journeymen Linemen to 6% above the Journeymen <br /> Linemen. <br /> • A change in the sick leave policy as detailed <br /> on the sheet attached to these minutes. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> 9) The General Manager reported that the new transformer at the <br /> West Substation has been energized and load has been tranferred <br /> to this equipment. <br /> 10) Bob McCartney reported that the new well and treatment plant <br /> at the Gary Street location has been placed in service. The <br /> first complete backwash has been conducted with the backwash <br /> effluent run into the pond. The pond was empty by the next <br /> morning. <br /> 11) The Line Superintendent updated the Commissioners on the status <br /> of construction projects and other operating conditions. <br /> 12) The General Manager reviewed the March and April financial <br /> statements with the Commissioners. <br /> 13) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee, to approve the <br /> check register. <br /> 14) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, June 7, 1994 at 3:00 P.M. <br /> at the Utilities office. <br /> 15) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn.
