<br /> <br />--~--"-_.- <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REGULAR WEEKLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE <br />ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />JUNE 6~ 1983 <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Hinkle~ Councilmembers Engstrom~ Duitsman~ Schuldt~ and <br />Gunkel. <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Hinkle. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Agenda <br /> <br />Item l4~ the Elk River Softball Concession Association - Non-intoxicating <br />Malt Liquor License~ item l5e Financing - Developer's Agreements~ and item <br />l5f The Downtown Parking Lot~ were added to the June 6~ 1983~ City Council <br />Agenda. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM MOVED TO APPROVE THE JUNE 6~ 1983~ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Minutes <br /> <br />The minutes will be submitted for approval at the June l3~ 1983, City Council <br />Meeting. <br /> <br />4. Open Mike <br /> <br />No one appeared for this item. The City Council officially accepted the keys <br />to the Front End Loader from Ziegler. <br /> <br />5. Fournier Administrative Subdivision/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Mr. Lawrence Fournier of 12197 95th Street has re- <br />quested an administrative subdivision for lots 5 and 6, block 20~ located at <br />the southwest corner of the intersection of Gates Avenue and 4th Street. Mayor <br />Hinkle indicated that the subdivision request is to divide lots 5 and 6 in order <br />to create a third lot along the south property line of lots 5 and 6. Mayor <br />Hinkle indicated that presently there are two homes on lot 6, and the adminis- <br />trative subdivision would allow Mr. Fournier to have a legal lot of record for <br />all three dwellings. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the three newly created lots in the admin- <br />istrative subdivision would be the appropriate size for the zoning~ and therefore, <br />it is recommended that the City Council approve the request for the administrative <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Mr. John Kraljic questioned the address of each house and the minimum lot size <br />for the specific zone. The City Administrator indicated that the newly created <br />lots in the administrative subdivision would meet the minimum lot size. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that the administrative subdivision was basically a house- <br />keeping request to allow each residence to have its own lot and legal description. <br />
