pple VEI • MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION HELD AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL TUESDAY, MARCH 22, 1994 Members Present: Chairman Tveite, Commissioners Eberley, Kreger, Kuester, Minton, and Tacheny. Members Absent: Commissioner Carr Staff Present: Steven B. Ach, City Planner, Stephen Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, Gary Schmitz, Planning Assistant, Catherine Schmidt, Recording Secretary. 1. Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission was called to order at 7 p.m. by Chairman Tveite. 2. Consider Planning Commission Agenda Commissioner Minton added discussion regarding cities the Planning Commission • members would be visiting. Commissioner Eberley requested to update the Commission regarding items at the last City Council meeting. Chairman Tveite added discussion regarding student involvement on the Planning Commission. COMMISSIONER EBERLEY MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED 3/22/94 PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA. COMMISSIONER MINTON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 3. Consider Planning Commission Minutes Regarding the 2/22/94 Planning Commission Minutes: Commissioner Eberley commented that the date in Item 4 was incorrect, it should be March 21, 1994. COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED 2/22/94 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER KREGER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. Regarding the Planning Commission Annual Meeting Minutes: COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1/22/94 PLANNING COMMISSION ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES. COMMISSIONER KUESTER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 4. Planning Commission Representative to Attend City Council Meeting • It was indicated Chairman Tveite would attend the 4/18/94 City Council meeting to be held at Elk River City Hall.
