Councilmembers Dobel. Tralle. Holmgren <br />and Schuldt. <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff Present: Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Lori Johnson. Financial <br />Director. <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Gunkel. <br /> <br />2. Consider Agenda <br /> <br />Pat Klaers stated that there would be no requested action on item #5.5- <br />Beer/Wine Resolution due to the fact that there has been no legislation <br />introduced at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt added discussion on Main street as a topic under <br />item #7- other business. <br /> <br />COUNcILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED AGENDA OF THE ELK RIVER <br />CIT! COUNCIL FOR THE MARCH 2, 1987 MEETING. cOUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3.1 <br /> <br />Consideration of 2-9-87 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />Under item #5.2. delete the paragraph beginning. "I question if..." under <br />item /15.4. add to the motion the words "and have routes" after "receiving <br />hours. " <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 9. 1987 CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />3.2 Consideration of 2-23-87 City Council Minutes <br /> <br />Under item #6.4. it was noted that a face lift was also discussed. Under <br />item /17.4. add the words "as a street". Under item /17.9. add the words. <br />"because both lots would be land locked." Under item /18.1. delete the <br />words "the utility commission meeting which he recently attended." and <br />add the words "a meeting with the utility manager." Under item /18.3. <br />replace the word "recycling" with the words "deposit legislation" in two <br />sentences. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE THE FEBRUARY 23. 1987 CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Open Mike <br /> <br />Pat Klaers would like it to be understood by the public that City Hall <br />will be closed on Friday. March 6. 1987 for a moving day. Comments <br />were made by Tom Zerwas. Chief of Police and Mayor Gunkel agreeing to <br />this matter. A message will be left on the recorder for any callers and <br />a message will be posted on the door. <br />
