e e e REGULAR MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE ELK RIVER POLICE DEPARTMENT MEETING ROOM MONDAY. JANUARY 26. 1987 Members Present: Mayor Gunkel. Councilmembers Dobel. Holmgren and Tralle Members Absent: Councilmember Schuldt Staff Present: Pat Klaers. City Administrator; Stephen Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator; and Bill Schmitt. Building Inspector 1. The meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Gunkel. 2. Consideration of 1/26/98 Agenda Items 3 and 7.2 were deleted from the Agenda. Item 7.3 - Junkyard was added to the agenda and general/update discussion items were added under other business. cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL 4-0. ACCEPT SECONDED 1/26/87 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AS THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3. Consider 1/10/87 Joint Council/Planning Commission Minutes This item was deleted from the agenda and will be considered at the 2/2/87 City Council meeting. 4. Consideration of 1/12/87 City Council Minutes Mayor Gunkel had numerous changes in the minutes. Councilmember Dobel noted that on item #10 the motion stated Councilmember Tralle as making and seconding the motion. cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1/12/87 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4- O. 5. Mike Bixby Property Mr. Mike Bixby was present and necessary estimates require~ in completion of his home. Mr. Bixby had anticipated and. therefore. indicated order to stated his could not he had received all the apply for a loan for the estimates were more than he secure a loan for his home. The Council questioned Mr. Bixby as to what his intentions were at this time. Mr. Bixby indicated he would have to either give away or try to sell his property and house.
