Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Energy City <br /> Commission was called to order by Chuba at 8:30 a.m. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Chuba led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 3. Consider Agenda <br /> Curtis added 5.4 Signage <br /> Moved by Westgaard and seconded by Hoskins to approve the August 17, <br /> 2016 Energy City Commission agenda with the addition of 5.4. <br /> 4. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> Moved by Westgaard and seconded by Hoskins to approve the consent <br /> agenda. <br /> 5.1 Youth Committee Applications <br /> Mroz provided the selection of youth committee applications that staff received.As <br /> some applications were missing needed detail, the commission discussed how to <br /> move forward without the need to issue a special meeting. Hoskins suggested a <br /> September 30 deadline for marketing to encourage more applications. <br /> Curtis made a motion to accept the two completed applications and the other three contingent on <br /> completeness. Chuba seconded. <br /> Hoskins suggested electronic approvals for the following applications. Mroz could <br /> provide a recommendation via email and add voting buttons. <br />
