CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Public Library <br /> Board was called to order at 5:00 PM by Jayne Dietz. <br /> 2. CONSIDER AGENDA <br /> Mary Eberley MOVED and Sarah Holmgren SECONDED to Consider Agenda Motion <br /> Passed 4 to 0. <br /> 3. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 3.1 Secretary's Report <br /> • September 23, 2014, Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> 3.2 Treasurer's Report <br /> • September and October 2014, Revenue & Expense Reports <br /> 3.1 Secretary's Report <br /> • September 23, 2014, Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> Move Treasure Report to Regular Agenda. <br /> Add to New Business: Memo from City Administrator. <br /> Sarah Holmgren MOVED and Mary Eberley SECONDED to Consent Agenda with <br /> edits and addition Motion Passed 4 to 0. <br /> 4. OPEN FORUM: No residents and guest. <br /> 5. VISITORS <br /> 5.1 Tim Simon attended because Gary Lore to give fire place options. It was <br /> noted that over $30,000.00 has been spent on repairs of fire place in the past. This has not <br /> yielded success <br /> There are 3 options: <br /> 1. Remove parts, cap gas line and replace with art work. Cost would be approximately, <br /> $700.00. <br /> 2. Put in an Electric LED Insert(Dimplex), additional wiring, cap gas line and remove <br /> parts. Video (Dimplex Product)was viewed by Board Members. Cost would be up to <br /> approximately, $1,825.00 for this option. <br /> 3. To repair fireplace to operational status would require new work plans, venting the <br /> system and additional plans. Bid given from Wentz & Associates located in Edina, <br /> MN. Would be approximately $18,000.00 <br /> Mary Eberley MOVED and Sarah SECONDED to accept option #2 with understanding that 2 <br /> Dimplex Products may be needed.
