They have indicated interest in participating in a master development agreement <br /> with the EDA for the development of their industrial/business park property. <br /> I I. Competitive Strategy <br /> Labor Market Research <br /> The MN Dept. of Employment&Economic Development (DEED) provides custom <br /> analysis/presentations of statistical workforce information to communities throughout the <br /> State per request by communities. This service is free of charge. <br /> At the April EDA meeting, Cameron Macht, DEED Labor Market Analyst,will present a <br /> custom analysis on job growth, etc. between Elk River and its competitors. <br /> Monticello <br /> The attached article and Monticello City Council Minutes provide information on <br /> Monticello's consideration of developing a city-owned industrial park. Elk River's Strategic <br /> Industrial Marketing 2002-2004 Action Plan states Monticello as a current key competitor. <br />
