O MINUTES <br /> Sherburne/Wright Cable Commission <br /> February 4th,2010 1:00 P.M. <br /> Buffalo City Hall <br /> The following directors were in attendance: Phil Kern, Chair-Delano, Cathy Shuman, <br /> Monticello, Merton Auger,Buffalo, Linda Hruby,Maple Lake, Don Levens, Cokato, <br /> Don Orrock, Big Lake,Nancy Carswell, Rockford, and Myles McGrath,Dassel. Bob <br /> Vose, Commission Attorney, Technical Consultant Bill Bruce and Commission Producer <br /> Mark Davis also attended. <br /> 1. Call to Order <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes <br /> A motion to approve the minutes of the September 4th,2008 meeting was <br /> tabled. <br /> 3. Treasurer's Report,prepared by Merton Auger,Buffalo <br /> a. Financial Statements <br /> • Mert Auger, Buffalo,reviewed the recent financial statements that he had e- <br /> mailed to all commission members. <br /> 4. Report from Attorney Bob Vose <br /> Mr. Vose discussed the pending Mediacom litigation in Prior Lake that is <br /> going to the Court of Appeals. <br /> He also reviewed the results of the meeting with Tucker Carlson of Charter <br /> Cable regarding the area wide government channel. The cable company <br /> would provide $15,000 toward purchase of the necessary playback <br /> equipment provided the commission released the company from building the <br /> majority of the sites listed in the franchise agreement. There was a motion <br /> made by Don Orrock, Big Lake to prepare an agreement. Myles McGrath <br /> seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> 5. Equipment Report from Bill Bruce <br /> Mr. Bruce handed out a report on the cable commission's technical projects <br /> for each member city during the 4th quarter of 2009. He also reviewed the <br /> projects planned for the 1st quarter of 2010 along with equipment purchase <br /> requests. <br />
