• MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL MONDAY, JUNE 26, 2000 Members Present: Commissioners Thompson, Toth and Wilson Members Absent: Commissioners Kropuenske and Huntington Staff Present: Cathy Mehelich, Executive Director; Marc Nevinski Assistant Director; Pat Klaers, City Administrator; Tina Allard, Recording Secretary 1. Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 5:07 p.m. by Vice Chair Toth. 2. Consider 6/26/00 HRA Agenda COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/26/00, HRA AGENDA AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. • 3. Consider Consent Agenda COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS: 3.1. 5/22/00 HRA MINUTES-APPROVED 3.2. REVENUE/EXPENSE REPORT THROUGH 6/20/00-APPROVED 3.3. CHECK REGISTER-APPROVED COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 4. Open Mike There was no one present for Open Mike. 5. Consider Appointment of Catherine Mehelich as Executive Director Marc Nevinski, Assistant Director of Economic Development requested the HRA to appoint Catherine Mehelich as Executive Director. COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPOINT CATHERINE MEHELICH AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE MOTION.THE MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 6. King and Main Update Marc noted that with the sale of the King and Main project, the First National Bank of Elk River is moving forward with plans for the site. 7. Discussion of Potential Projects • Marc Nevinski suggested that the HRA might wish to look at other opportunities and projects in the Central Business District or along East Highway 10.
