Catherine Mehelich indicated the HRA might want to look at developing design <br /> • <br /> guidelines for the Central Business District. Ms. Mehelich stated that there is still <br /> $10,000 in the budget and that these monies could be used for a potential <br /> downtown project or study. <br /> Vice Chair Toth suggested that some of the properties located on the north side <br /> of the railroad tracks could be ripe for redevelopment. <br /> Commissioner Thompson requested staff to talk with the downtown businesses <br /> and get ideas from them. <br /> Commissioner Wilson commented that we might want downtown to be more of <br /> a destination place for people outside of Elk River to come visit and shop for the <br /> day. <br /> 8. Other Business <br /> Pat Klaers, City Administrator noted the HRA has$90,000 to work with in their <br /> reserve right now. Mr. Klaers stated there are sufficient funds for the HRA to pay off <br /> the King and Main site. <br /> 9. Adiournment <br /> There being no other business, COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO ADJOURN <br /> THE MEETING. VICE CHAIR TOTH SECONDED THE MOTION.
