That study <br />included data on the number and mix of dwelling units itl the city. Census data was also <br />utilized to compare Elk River's housing stock to those of neighboring communities. <br /> <br />Included in this update is data on the number and types (,f building permits issued, an <br />updated lot inventmy and information on future resident iai projects. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />· Staff Report to HRA, dated August 25, 2003 <br />· Minutes from HRA, dated September 22, 2003 <br />· Lot Inventory <br /> <br />Update <br /> <br />Existing Conditions <br /> <br />The housing types included in our inventory were apartrr ents, single family detached and <br />single family attached (twinhomes and townhouses). In ~lay of 2003 there were 6,587 <br />dwelling units. As of June 2004 there were 7,252 dwe ~l~in~.units, an increase of 665 dwelling <br />units. All of the new dwelling units were either single family detached or single family <br />attached. I <br /> <br /> <br />
