Call Meeting To Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chair Toth. <br /> Chair Toth welcomed Jean Lieser as a new commissioner of the HRA, completing Linda <br /> Huntington's term. <br /> 2. Consider 7/23/01 HRA Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER MOTIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE 7/23/01 HRA <br /> AGENDA AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER WILSON SECONDED THE <br /> • MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER MOTIN MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 3.1. JUNE 27,2001 HRA MINUTES—APPROVED <br /> 3.2. CHECK REGISTER—APPROVED <br /> 3.3. Open Mike <br /> There was no one present for Open Mike. <br /> 5. Downtown Riverfront Redevelopment <br /> Director of Economic Development Catherine Mehelich updated the HRA on the progress <br /> of the downtown riverfront redevelopment. She stated that staff is working with developer <br /> Best&Hempel on the concept design and financial analysis. Catherine indicated that the <br /> • analysis would take several months to complete and will be brought to the HRA for <br /> consideration at the time of completion. <br /> Catherine indicated that staff has discussed proceeding with the application for the historical <br /> context study grant in January.
