Item 3.1 <br /> <br />Meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br />Held at the Elk River City Hall <br /> <br />Tuesday, April 28, 2015 <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Eric Johnson, Commissioners Garrett Christianson, Jeremy Johnson, <br />Jill Larson-Vito and Brad Thiel. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Crook and Konietzko <br /> <br />Staff Present: Park Planner/Planner Chris Leeseberg, Planner Za <br />Administrative Assistant Debbie Huebner <br /> <br />Also Present: Councilmember Burandt <br /> <br /> <br />1.Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning Commission <br />was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chair Eric Johnson. <br /> <br />2. Consider 4/28/2015 Planning Commission Agenda <br /> <br /> Moved by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Larson-Vito to <br /> approve the April 28, 2015, Planning Commission agenda. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />3. 3/24/2014 Regular Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Christianson to <br />approve the March 24, 2015, Regular Planning Commission meeting minutes. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4.1a Request by Morrell Companies for Zone Change Ï Lot 1, Block 2, Natures <br />Edge Business Center from Business Park to Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD), Case No. ZC 15-02 Ï Public Hearing <br />4.1b Request by Morrell Companies for Conditional Use Permit to establish the <br /> PUD, Case No. CU 15-04 Ï Public Hearing <br /> <br />The staff report was presented by Chris Leeseberg. Morrell Comp <br />th <br />Change and CUP in order to construct a trucking facility at 10755 170 Circle NW. Mr. <br />Leeseberg noted that the request is not consistent with the Comp <br />FAST plan adopted by the City Council. He stated that if the request is approved by the <br />City Council, a land use amendment will be brought to the Planning Commission at the May <br />26 meeting to bring the land use in harmony with the proposed zo <br /> <br />
