The draft <br /> minutes from the May 3, 1989 meeting are not attached with this <br /> memo as they have not been received at City Hall. <br /> I wish to inform the Park and Recreation Commission that I will <br /> not be attending this 6/7/89 meeting as I will be at the annual <br /> League of Minnesota Cities Conference. I anticipate that Phil <br /> Hals and Charlie Blesener will be in attendance. <br /> 4 . Open Mike <br /> I understand that two groups will be attending this Park and <br /> Recreation Commission to address the Commission on local <br /> issues. The first group to visit with the Park and Rec <br /> Commission will be the Orono Lake Homeowners Association. <br /> Their attendance at a Park and Recreation Commission meeting <br /> has been anticipated. The staff has previously distributed <br /> the City of Big Lake Park and Recreation ordinances and <br /> rules for review. The Orono Lake Homeowners Association has <br /> also reveiwed this information and it is anticipated that <br /> this group will be requesting more rules and regulations be <br /> approved and enforced by the City to control activities on <br /> and around Orono Lake. City staff member and Big Lake City <br /> Council member, Tom Tyler, has been requested to attend this <br /> meeting to review with the Orono Lake Homeowners Association <br /> and the Park and Recreation Commission the relative success <br /> of the newly adopted Big Lake ordinance. <br /> The second group that would like to visit with the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission is represented by Cliff Lundberg. <br /> Attached for your information is some material provided to <br /> the City by Mr. Lundberg regarding a local arts council .
