Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meeting of the Elk River <br /> Heritage Preservation Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider 4/12/01 Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER NORD TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER DWYER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider 3/8/01 Minutes <br /> . COMMISSIONER KRAGNESS MOVED TO APPROVE THE 3/8/01 HPC <br /> MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. COMMISSIONER PENNER SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Consider Items on Planning Commission 4/24/01 Agenda <br /> The Commission reviewed the items on the 4/24/01 Planning Commission agenda <br /> and felt there were no conflicts or issues regarding the preservation of the city's <br /> heritage. <br /> 5. Discuss Elk River Area Rotary's Plan to Restore the Handke Stadium <br /> The Commission asked Cliff Lundberg, who was present at the meeting, to relay <br /> on to the Rotary Club that the HPC is very much in support of the Handke <br /> Stadium project. <br /> 6. Discuss Narrative for HRA Downtown Redevelopment Plan <br /> The HPC reviewed the proposed language of their portion of the HRA Downtown <br /> Redevelopment Plan. The need for a context study was reemphasized. <br /> • <br />
