Discuss City's Certified Local Government Status <br /> • Mr. Rohlf provided the Commission with a copy of the letter he wrote in response <br /> to the State Historic Preservation Office's concerns with the city's ordinances. <br /> Mr. Rohlf informed the group that the city's application to become a CLG has <br /> been forwarded to Washington D.C. for processing. <br /> 8. Other Business <br /> The Commission discussed the following budgetary needs for 2002: <br /> $6,000 - Context Study as a follow-up of HRA Downtown Redevelopment <br /> Plan ($10,000 to $15,000 total - some in kind services and 1/2 paid for <br /> by grant money) <br /> $2,000—Travel, conferences and schools—education for HPC members and <br /> hosting a workshop(s) for the public <br /> $1,000—Technical support <br /> $120 - Dues and subscriptions <br /> $80—Publishing, postage and phones <br /> $9,200 Total <br /> 9. Discuss Items to be on the April 12t1i HPC Agenda <br /> It was the consensus of the group that staff inquired into having a joint meeting <br /> with Otsego's HPC. If a joint meeting isn't possible, the same issue will again be <br /> • placed on the next agenda that were on April's agenda, with the addition of <br /> discussion on the Houlton Farm. <br /> 10. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, the meeting of the Elk River HPC was adjourned <br /> at 9:05 p.m. <br />
