Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Public Library Board was <br /> called to order at 5:00 p.m. by. Jayne Dietz. <br /> It was determined a quorum was present <br /> 2. Consider Library Board Agenda <br /> Kathleen Tracy MOVED AND Willie Jackson SECONDED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> PRESENTED. MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider Secretary's Report <br /> Jayne Dietz MOVED AND Willie Jackson SECONDED TO APPROVE THE MEETING <br /> MINUTES FROM THE January 22,2013 MEETING AS PRESENTED. <br /> MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> 4. Consider Treasurer's Report. <br /> Mary Eberley MOVED AND Willie Jackson SECONDED TO APPROVE THE <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT AND FINANCIALS FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER <br /> AND DECEMBER AND YEAR TO DATE FINANCIALS AS PRESENTED. <br /> MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> 5. Librarian's Report—William Hollerich Regional Supervisors Report—Brandi Canter <br /> The Board acknowledged the Librarian's report. <br /> a. Mick Stoffers is back as a branch assistant substitute. <br /> b. Hosting a popular mystery author Brian Freeman the first week of April. <br /> c. Training was provided on collection software that analyzes the circulation of materials and <br /> compares to what collection you have on the shelves in order to anticipate needs. <br /> d. Pest control maintenance in place for ants. Will continue to monitor. <br /> The Board acknowledge the Regional Supervisor's Report. <br /> a. Maintenance of Effort for 2013 is$69,920, which is the same for 2012. <br /> b. Read down your fines for youth will be offered June 24—29. <br /> 7/23/2013 1 <br />
