to be removed <br />Underlines to be added <br />• ORDINANCE 12 - oft <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING <br />SECTION 50 -91 and 50 -96 OF THE ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA, CITY CODE <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 50 -91 tided, Definitions, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be <br />amended to change the following: <br />Calenda r yea r means a 12 -month period beginning on January 1 st and ending <br />on December 31St the-day . <br />Section 50 -96, tided, Enforcement of Alarm Ordinance, of the City of Elk River Code of <br />Ordinances shall be amended to change the following: <br />•Excessive false alarms ailure to register. It is hereby .f �f 8 Y found and determined that <br />three or more false alarms within a pefffiit year calendar year is excessive, <br />constitutes a public nuisance, and shall be unlawful. Civil penalties for false <br />alarms and for failure to obtain an alarm permit for an alarm system may be <br />assessed against an alarm user, as provided in the city's current fee schedule. <br />Section 2.
