**ITEM 3.4. ** <br /> <br />-~ty of <br /> <br />iver <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Dennis Anderson, <br />Building Inspector <br /> <br />January 23, 1998 <br /> <br />Out of State Conference <br /> <br />On February 9th through the 13th, 1998, the University of Wisconsin, <br />Madison, will be hosting their 28th annual building inspection seminar. The <br />courses will be on mechanical systems, installation and code requirements, <br />and inspection techniques and procedures. Sessions will focus on developing <br />the inspector's understanding of present day construction technology and the <br />installation of mechanical systems in accordance with local building codes. <br />Exposure to new technology and learning experiences with mechanical <br />systems will provide the basis for in-depth mechanical inspection training. <br /> <br />Attached is an outline of the seminar.
