Call Meeting To Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Economic Development <br />Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Gongoll. <br />2. Strategic Industrial Marke[ing Activities Report <br />Assistant Director of Economic Development Heidi Steinmetz noted that a direct mail piece <br />is being finalized for mailing later this month to promote the Micro Loan Program and the <br />Technical Assistance Program. Ms. Steinmetz reported on the Business Retention and <br />Expansion visit with Supermats on Wednesday, August 11~. She reviewed four issues which <br />were discussed at the meeting. Ms. Steinmetz noted that staff was surprised to learn that <br />finding reliable, unskilled workers was one of the company's major concerns. She explained <br />
