Consider 4/12/11 Planning Commission Agenda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER LEMKE AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER WESTBERG TO APPROVE THE APRIL 12, 2011 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />3. Consider 3/8/11 Planning Commission Minutes <br />® MOVED BY COMMISSIONER JOHNSON AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER LEMKE TO APPROVE THE MARCH 8, 2011 MINUTES. <br />MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />4. Planning Commission Representative to Attend April 18.2011 City Council Meeting <br />Commissioner Johnson will attend the April 18, 2011 City Council meeting. <br />5.1. Request by Craig Wille~(Wright Titlel for Conditional Use Permit for Residential Use in G2 <br />Office District (429 Main Street). Case No. CU 11-05 <br />Mr. Barnhart stated that this item has been withdrawn by the applicant. <br />Vice-Chair Anderson opened the public hearing. No one appeared for or against this <br />application. Vice-Chair Anderson closed the public hearing. <br />5.2. Request by Briggs Properties for Conditional Use Permit for Hotel (Elk River Lodgg . 1~, 7432 <br />Yale Street. Case No. CU 11-07 <br />The staff report fox this item was presented by Jeremy Barnhart, Planning Manager. Mr. <br />Barnhart explained that the applicant will remain a 42-unit hotel, and that a Conditional Use <br />Permit is required because the hotel was closed for more than six months. He reviewed the <br />conditions of approval recommended by staff in the report to the Planning Commission <br />dated Apri112, 2011. <br />• <br />
